We are always looking for more volunteers to help run this small exhibition. Any one, young or old, male or female are welcome to join our friendly team. It would of course be a bonus if you have a particular skill to offer but no special skills are necessary just enthusiasm and an interest in local history.
You can volunteer for as few or as many hours that you like and there are numerous roles to fulfil. The following are just a few examples of the kinds of things our volunteers do:-
Acting as a guide, Researching history, Preserving and displaying the collection, Building and maintenance, Manning stalls on open days, Baking cakes, Serving refreshments, Helping in our gift/book shop.
